In 2013, I received a bursary to attend an Arvon Songwriting Course with Boo Hewerdine, Edwina Hayes and Eddie Reader, and from this I had a song taken to Nashville. I have also had songs reach the semi-finals of the UK Song Contest!

  I wrote a song to campaign for a medal for Bomber Command in the second world war. I was short-listed to play on the fourth plinth in trafalgar square but did not make the final cut. In 2016 this song was requested for the Bomber Command Digital Archive based in Lincoln.

As a signer-songwriter, I write the material for the electro-acoustic trio Front Porch.
We perform our own material based on folk, blues and roots influences of our backgrounds.
The Front Porch at the Electric Palace playing in front of their stage set …“which brings atmosphere and ambiance to the bands performance” [Press Review].

The Band have supported such acts as Edwina Hayes, The Beat, Luke Jackson, and the poet John Hegley.
